Born and raised on the East Side of Cleveland, PO Rashawn Rahim was introduced to policing during his experience as a Police Explorer at the age of 14. He joined the Cleveland Division of Police in July 2014.
P.O. Rahim has worked in the 5th District on Basic Patrol, later went on to work in the 3rd District as a member of the Community Service Unit and also served as a Community Engagement Officer (CEO). He is currently assigned to the Community Relations Unit.
Since 2017, P.O. Rahim has assisted in the BSPA's annual toy drive by soliciting toy donations and passing toys out to schools and members of the community. Fun Fact: P.O. Rahim has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and is an Air Force Reserve Officer.
P.O. Rashawn Rahim is recognized as the BSPA's Officer of the Month for April 2020 for his contributions and dedication to the BSPA and the Division.
We are proud of P.O. Rahim today and every single day for his dedication to our community and country.
